Stax of Soul at Stockport Plasa Theatre

Sound and lighting hire for Stax of Soul at Stockport Plasa Theatre. The band are a 9 piece soul band featuring tributes to James Brown and The Blues Brothers. With over a 1,200 or more people packed into the venue we needed coverage for a wide audience. For this we used our Logic Systems Ethos Line array as the main PA system. This was able to deliver a dispersion of sound around the theatre. In conjunction with our HK Audio active Linear5 front fills and monitors. Allen and Heath SQ5 was used for the mixing desk. Equinox Fusion 260ZR moving zoom washes were flown above the band. Also placed at the back of stage we used 6 Chauvet Intimidators. For both sets most of the audience were up out of their seats and dancing in the aisles.
